Sean F. Forrester was appointed vice president and chief information officer for Diebold, Incorporated in September 2007. He is responsible for the management, implementation and usability of information and computer technologies.

Prior to accepting his current position, Forrester served as the vice president of information technology at Diebold. In this position, Forrester was responsible for the management and oversight of enterprise application solutions and internal global IT and project management functions.

Before joining Diebold, Forrester was vice president of information technology, test and measurement at SPX Corporation, in Detroit, Mich. Prior to this position, he served in a variety of information technology and manufacturing roles at Dana Corporation of Toledo, Ohio.

Forrester is a certified chartered manager and project management professional. He is a member of the Board of Governors for Chief Information Officers (CIO) Ohio, CIO Leadership Network, Toastmasters International, Project Management Institute and a fellow with the Chartered Management Institute (UK).
